Here is a fishing report and video I did with my buddy Jim B. from northeast Ohio.  We fished East Harbor this past September and it was great day on the water.  It's amazing how many fish that harbor holds.

The 2022 District 1 National Semi-finals was held October 8th and 9th on the Harris Chain of Lakes. It was a tough weekend due to the loss of two very important people in the fishing community. We lost Mr. Ed Fry and then one week later we lost Mr. Jeff Zesiger. Our hearts were heavy, …

I'm always ready to help you out Dan.  I'll start paying closer attention to the forum when we get closer to Christmas.

How many springs in a row now have been windy, cold and rainy!?! Especially on St. Clair... seems like just the odds would give us one nice spring for a change!

Hoping spring of 2023 is better.

The boys decided to stay in Burt.  They could not find enough big ones in Crooked.  They finished 11th with 21.75 the first day and 6th the second day with 20.89 anchored by a 6.5#.  I wish they had high school fishing way back when.

We should have thought of it! Junior, High School, College! These kids have it good!

You got that right!

Hard to believe that time is fast approaching again. The 2023 editions of Michigan's Ultimate Sport Show Tour - the three biggest, highly attended fishing and outdoor sport shows in Michigan!

As usual, we kick of the 2023 fishing show season with the Ultimate Fishing Show - Detroit! January 12 to the 15th, 2023, at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi! I'll be there, so you should just come down. We might not have ice safe everywhere yet so at least you can show up and talk fishing! No excuse for those of you who don't ice fish! Unless you're wintering in Florida, or something like that.

Outdoorama, the All Outdoors Show and middle sister of the three Ultimate Sport Show Tour events, runs February 23 - February 26 in Novi at the Suburban Collection Showplace again! I need more of you to make a showing at this show. Every kind of outdoors person attends, so I need more anglers to offset all the people who don't talk to me about bass fishing!

The  'grandmama' of all outdoor shows - the 78th Ultimate Sport Show - Grand Rapids bumps up against my birthday, March 9 - 12, 2023 at DeVos Place. Always lots of fishing stuff at this big, big show. It's worth the drive. Plus, you can wish me a happy birthday a day or few early (bring presents ;D - cake is nice too... I like cherry).

More information is forthcoming as it becomes available from Showspan. Keep up with the latest news, announcements, contests and promotions here, and on Facebook at Ultimate Sport Show Tour.

Used to fish this every year. Remember getting 3 inches of snow during one event. They let us come in a noon and warm up, before going back out. If you wanted to go back out. Many people left for warm, inside locations. And hot chili, or cocoa, or whatever hot they could find.

Let us know how it goes this year.
