With aggressive lines and windswept contours, the 188VS delivers responsive handling, whisper quiet stealth, smooth rides and unmatched stability and space.
Stretching 18′ 8″ in length, the 188VS is equipped with smooth, Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering that centers the helm while performance instrumentation includes a cluster of speed, tach, fuel, trim and water pressure. Rated for a maximum of 175 horsepower, the 188VS features an integrated engine set-back to help eliminate backwash from sudden stops. Additional electronics are highlighted by an on-board charger, 24 volt Minn Kota® trolling motor and a Lowrance® X-135 fishfinder. Utilizing the breakthrough technology of the all-new LowranceNET networking system, the 188VS enjoys optimum flexibility with standard electronic features while also being pre-wired for future accessories.

Combined with the unmatched strength of a pultruded solid fiberglass transom, foam-filled fiberglass stringer system and upright level flotation, the new hull is engineered for faster hole shots, strong top end delivery, responsive handling and a smooth dry ride.
Featuring a broad 92 ½” beam, the rig is honeycombed with lockable storage. Rod boxes measure 7′ and 7 ½’ in length and include the added security of gas spring lid assists, a tapered rod tube organizer and a raised lip and channel seal. Alongside the passenger seating, a runnin’ rod rack provides even more storage and quick access to more frequently used rods.
Beneath the oversized front deck, a built-in cooler and center compartment specialize in convenience and deliver an abundance of gear storage. Elsewhere, the 188VS is equally well suited for its aquatic passengers. The aft positioned, double lid livewell includes recirculating aeration, a removable divider, filter screens and manual/automatic timer functions.
Equipped with a single axle custom-matched trailer, the 188VS is easier to maneuver and enjoys the smooth trailering benefits of custom alignment and individually balanced wheels. Up front, the center swing jack retracts flush to the frame and creates a more balanced load, making it even more secure on the trailer. Covered with our exclusive Road Armor Equipped® protective coating, the trailer enjoys a super-tough shield guarding against virtually every normal road hazard.
