I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Anybody catch.the.shows yesterday.  To much talking and.personal stuff not enough fishing.

I did watch them. Ike had a really cool fish landing across that dock! It was also cool to hear what the pros had to say about the diversity of our fisheries here. We can fish so much different stuff and I think it makes us more well rounded anglers!

I like to hear what you had to say about the pros talking about our fishing. Not sure when I'll get to watch the show but I look forward to it. I look forward to trying to get them, and more national events, back to Michigan more often too!

I was a little disappointed in the shows. I would have liked to have seen more fishing. But, I did manage to make it on tv. In the coverage of day 1, there's a good shot of my pontoon sitting behind KVD.  Can't miss it. It was the only black toon on the water.

It was nice  to hear what the pros had to say about our lakes.

I have the coverage on my DVR and am going to watch it when I get home from work tonight.  I'm really looking forward seeing not only what the pros had to say, bu how they portrayed the whole event and surrounding area.  I really hope BASS comes back to Michigan soon.  I'm already looking forward to the 2014 Open on St. Clair.  I just wish that the Elites and an FLW event were coming to anywhere in Michigan.  I'm just grateful how western Michigan sent BASS out of Michigan with positive images of huge crowds and a welcoming community.  I'm hoping the positives of ALL STAR week out weighs the mediocre at best turn out southeastern Michigan gave them on LSC.
What I'm really hoping for is that Michigan can one day get the week long BASSFEST event that they are holding on Chickamauga in June of 2014.  That sounds like an incredible event, and hopefully if things go as planned, I will be visiting some family friends in Tennessee that week and I will be there.
Another thing I have been thinking about is everything I read about what a huge success the Texas Toyota Bass Classic was last week.  I realize that with Toyota being a huge sponsor, it makes sense that they would hold such an event.  How cool would it be if one of the Big Three or some other large Michigan based corporation could get on board and do an event like that here in Michigan.

Anything is possible if you get the right people together willing to roll up their sleeves and do a little work...
