Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

They have had lighted signs up in the area for a couple weeks but for those that have not ventured to the launches yet here is your warning....lol

I got a late start last year for the opener and was delayed and rerouted a few times getting to Harley Ensign. Not fun when trailering anything!

Signs said 7a-2p. Web site says it starts at 8a. Plan accordingly. I would get there early....launching at Selfridge should not have any issues.

Happiness? A good cigar, a good meal, and a good woman - or a bad woman; it depends on how much happiness you can handle.

I was going to Clair for the opener, but the water is so muddy that I'm gonna put it off for at least a week.  Hopefully the inland lakes won't be so brown.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Lots of stuff in fishing is relative...

I was thinking, rather than moving this event next year to a different weekend, maybe we could just get rid of opening day and every day would be opening day!

How would Gov Kimmel sound? That way he gets to sign what he wants and veto the rest LOL

It sounds terrible!! Do you have any idea how many people get mad at or complain to a governor?!? A lot.

He (the Gov) was lucky with me last Thursday. I just talked to him about fishing...

Politics is not for me... you may have been talking about my brother? He keeps running for office. I think he has gone kooky...

I do like the slogan 'Every day is opening day' though. That has a nice sound to it. I will license it to whomever wants it!! I know at least 1 member on here has run for office... ;D
