I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

From Jeff Cox: Just to keep you guys updated a little. The state championship is June 4th at Houghton Lake as we all know.

The deadline for your paid entries is going to be Tuesday May 31st. This is only a couple of days before but because of some problems that I have had in the past we will not be accepting entries after this date.

Remember all anglers must be paired boater and non boater through your clubs.

The pre-meeting will be on Friday June 3rd sign in will start at 5pm and go until dinner is served around 630. I would suggest that you sign in before 6pm.

Boat check for the tournament will begin at 5am and will end at 615 am this will give our boat checkers 15 minutes before launch to get where they need to be.

Launch will be at 630 and check in will be at 2:30.

If there are any questions about any of this please let me know also this will all be gone over at the pre-meeting.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Just to keep a little update going for now.  I will be having my final meeting with the Chamber and Visitor Bureau on Friday.  I have been told yesterday that the dinner that they will be doing for us on Friday night at the Pre Meeting will be a Pig Roast.  This should  be a great time for all and it sounds like all the food will be great.  I will post anymore info after my meeting friday if there is any.  Remember the Host Hotel is is the Riveria on Houghton Lake.

Here is a link to everything you will need for the state championship.  Fact sheet, entry form/waiver, club roster, rules.  Like Jeff said we will have more info next week after he gets back from Houghton.
