This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Does anyone know if Navionics Elite SD Card is compatible with HB 997 unit???

Yes but only if; You have updated to the newest software(A free download at humminbird) and it should also work on the 1198cSI. I dont know why but it and the Nav gold or platinum will not work in the 797-8cSI units. It must be a software compatibility problem. I found out the hard way and had to return mine to Vic's for the premium software. When I replace my 797 with an 1198 I'll be going with the better navionics for sure.
