I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Made a run down with three other buddies to the BSP in Portage, IN. I was a tad conservative. Did buy a Johnny Morris spinning reel. Been wanting to try a wide spool reel. I normally use Shimano Saros, but I've been mulling over the JM reel. Used their sale and reel swap to save about $40. The other guys loaded up. Gore tex suit, poles, reels, crankbaits, and KVD spinnerbaits.
The food at Portage BPS is very good. The homemade potato chip appetizer is huge, enough for four, or just me with no breakfast.

Headed to Auburn Hills tomorrow.  Don't plan on spending much.  But then, I never do....
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Dan, maybe you should be in charge of my new 'food' section of the website...??

They say a good fisherman has to be observant and so I keep a keen eye on good eating establishments. When you come to the Grand Rapids Show you'll have to try the Ottawa Street Tavern. For lunch they have a killer soup bar.

I'm usually too tired and clumsy at shows to risk soup. But they may be some other time I can give it a try.

So where should I eat Saturday after NBAA Day at D&R Sports?

Hey Dan, When you get back to the Portage BPS try the Quaker Steak and Lube on the corner there.  We went to BPS on Sunday of the opening weekend (Feb 27) They have great food ( Wings , Ribs, sandwiches etc) and a cool atmosphere.  You can eat lunch under a Jaguar or Trans Am on lifts I think it is. After BPS we stopped at Long Horn for desert.  Do we know how to make a trip to BPS or what???  lolol

I've always been a quantity over quality picture taker. Before digital I was a 35mm person always taking a ton of pictures. Then when digital video rolled around, I started making iMovies for myself and others. Now, I wish I had the money to get set up with a good digital camera, but until then I have my pocket camera and take a lot of pics. I like have a decent pocket camera, because I have wrecked several taking them in the boat and getting them wet. If I did have a good digital I'd be a little hesitant to take it in the boat. It really gets bounced around and there is a lot of moisture. I have lost a camera bag off the back of my boat with a video and still camera in it. Ran down the lake and forgot it was sitting on the back.  ???
I carry my pocket camera everywhere. Because of my blog and website, I am always looking for pictures, either mine or pics that people send me of their outdoor adventures.
