I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Just a quick note of congratulations to a couple GLB anglers that flat out dominated our Team Bass Club first weekend of tournaments in Northern Michigan.

Savage (Brandon) posted 2nd & 3rd place finishes with 18.5# & 16.5# (+/-) respectively, but the big story was new comer and currently non-boater PitchnFlip (Pat), he finished with 1st & 2nd place finishes, out of the back of the boat...he hauled in 18.75# & 19.25# (.15#) from a day 2 win.

There were a number of good bags, included in that list were smbassman (Jarrod) & Ronhuntfish (Ron)...look for the complete story coming up in Blake's Excellent Adventures in the next couple days.

Read it here: http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?topic=981.0

In short I would again like to thank Dan for building this site and allowing PitchnFlip to answer my post for new members and flat out, without any remorse KICK OUR BUTTS!!? ;D

smbassman

Yep! Pat (PitchnFlip) is a sandbagger for sure.  Signed up as a backseater so we wouldn't notice him slowly and methodically whooping our tails!!!  I had the pleasure of fishing with Pat on day one and it was a pleasure.  He is a very good fisherman and earned those 1st and 2nd places (added 7 pounds in the last 20 mins :o-"NEVER GIVE UP!" ;D).

This is also my first year in Team Bass and in any club actually.  I am very pleased with the way everything is run and how everyone helps out.  If you are looking for a fun club to fish with next year contact Blake (or myself).

ronhuntfish

It was a great weekend!

These guys have a lot to live up to the rest of the season.  It'll be tough to put up more #'s like that.

Might be tough to catch em also.

chase5004

(Pitchnflip = Chase5004) Thanks for the kind words fellas, but a lot of Sat. had to do with smbassman being on fish, and a little luck never hurt anyone. Now the pressure is really on to keep it going the rest of the season.

Even if the rest of the year goes down the drain, these two events gave me a huge confidence boost, and told me I can at least catch fish. Anyway I had a great time and I too was pleased at how well things were run and the people there.

It was truly a great weekend, I hope we venture back to those lakes again in the next few years.  Any time multiple club records are broken, it's a good thing!   8)

Pitchnflip DID come out of nowhere to take the club lead as a non-boater, but we're on to him now.  We've all thrown in a few bucks for his boater to just take him for a ride to lousy water next time, and poke his fish with the net. ;D

I'm already looking forward to "Lake Catchabiggun", a lake so revered by our club that we use a code word for it, even on our website.  Yes we are pathetic, but we like it that way.

Having Pat and Jarrod (pitchnflip and smbassman) in the club has been a great boost to it's competetiveness, I hope both of you guys enjoy yourselves this year and decide to stay for a decade or two.  Just don't win too much, OK? ::)
