I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

So, something that has made me a decent amount of money over the past couple years is now out on the market. The iShad is a technique that developed from Japan and was written about in Bassmaster magazine last year when a writer went fishing with the Jackall staff from Japan. The iShad is a 4.8 inch soft plastic that you fish on a small jighead and simply point the rod tip straight at the lure and real it slowly. It is supposed to mimic a baitfish that is simply cruising as it would when it is not frightened. They also have an awesome hard bait called the Sierra Minnow that actually pushes water through it's gills as you reel it back. I have a ton of confidence in these lures, especially when the bite gets tough and you need a couple of extra bites to seal the deal, that is usually when I bring them out of the rod locker. The writer was also really impressed with the technique and he dang well should have been. Hopefully you guys check out the iMotion technique because it catches a lot of fish.

Nice plug, I'll have to check it out. What does it take to get a demonstration on the water of this, I've been trying now for years!!

What situations do you use the iShad over the Sierra Minnow, and vice versa?

i've been curious about these since I read about them.

SethV

hush up now!

I also want to state that they do NOT work on a drop shot.  Don't even bother trying.

hahaha! I should have kept them a secret, huh! I like both of them for different situations eetz. I like to go to the Sierra Minnow when the fish are just hitting the lure, instead of eating it well. The jigheads designed for the iShad are really small and work great with the lure but if bass are short striking at the lure you don't get great hookups. However, I then would switch to the Sierra Minnow because it is has treble hooks and you end up hooking them, kind of the same situation anglers experienced at the Classic and KVD switched first.
