Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Anyone up for meeting at the Novi Hooters Friday February 25th.  2001 classic footage starts at 7:00 pm.   Anyone remember who won.

i will be in Alabama fishing Lake Guntersville.  I hope they have a hooters down there.  maybe we can text long distance and it will be like we are hanging out :o  even send pictures to see which hooters has the prettier girls.

I went down to Guntersville about four years ago. I dont know where you are staying(we stayed at the state park), but there was nothing around. We had to travel an hour away just to find a grocery store. If you are staying at the state park get everything you need before you get there, trust me!

YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!  WOO HOOOOOOO!!!!  Um, too bad I can't be there and back home in time to go to work the next day. >:( >:( >:(  You can have my chicken wing. :'(
