Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I seen in the Bassmaster mag. on page 21 free tackle giveaway looks like you have won a Loomis rod.

Some retired guys have all the luck! I would probably just win a pink hat or something...

Hey Dan, can I borrow a fishing rod?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

you don't like pink hats? we used to have one for our softball team and whoever made an error had to wear it till the next error was made. we played very good that year :D

Cy

That guy is lucky!  I was listening to a Bass Feed pod cast one time and his name was drawn for a prize.  I think is was a gift card or something.   Lucky and retired!  Must be nice.

I'm retired but haven't won anything since I did.

Must be saving up for the BIG one!
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Well I'll be. It does look like a new Loomis 6 ft 6 in casting rod from Temple Fork Outfitters is on the way, and I should have it in four to six weeks.
Yes, I am retired and trying to live on the new reduced income. That part isn't all what it's cracked up to be.
I have won a couple of things. I won $10K on a scratch off lottery ticket on Christmas Eve about 20 some years ago. I also won the draft lottery which got me a trip and training opportunities down at Fort Jackson, South Carolina in 1972. I'd say the $10K win on the lottery card, and the draft lottery win kind of cancel each other out though. So, I'm back at zero.
I don't even remember what I won on Bass Feed, Cy. Seems like it was a reel, so a new Loomis would be nice.
Thanks Don for the heads up. I hadn't even opened the January issue yet. You GLBers on on top of things!
