Becoming a BASS Fed Member

Here's the problem. I have a friend that needs to sign up as a Bass Fed member. The reason, primarily, would be to gain eligibility for priority entry in to the BASS Marshal program. That priority entry date for Bass Fed Members is January 4, 2011. It use to be that if you were a Bass Insider member you would have priority entry. Bass Insider and FTR, Fishing Tackle Retailers, have just been axed by BASS. His Bass Insider membership just recently expired and now he can't reup for that. I've sent an email out to Paul Sacks, but would like to get a hold of someone that has the skinny on how long it takes to become an "official" Bass Fed member. Can the registration process go through it's twist and turns so he qualifies for the priority registration on time?

Try sending a PM to 'fear no fish' too. He is a board member and might be able to help.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thanks Dan. I made enough calls and sent enough emails to finally reach the person I had to talk to to get this worked out. I'm all set now. Pickwick here we come. I'm also going to be signing up to go back down in June to Marshal the Wheeler Event, which is the last Elite Series event of the season. Priority registration begins January 4th. I'll be online early.

Jerry McKinnis says they will fill up fast this year. May be several Michigan 'boys' fishing this season too... Two Kalamazoo kids it appears anyway!
