Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

We've been putting a couple of boats in the water at the same time each week and sharing info as to what and where etc.   We've been picking Monday or Tuesday based on weather, and our schedules.

Last week it was the Portage Chain, week before was Woodland.

We decided by sharing in this way we'd increase our chances of getting on fish, and learning more.

Tomorrow we're headed to Kent Lake at the East Launch at 7AM.  Anyone that would like to hang out with us and share is more than welcome.  The two boats we have are each full, but if you've your own boat, or know a boater that would like to participate come on down.

We've been thinking of continuing this through out the rest of summer and see what happens.  Who knows, might just keep on growing.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

McCarter

did you dropshot a Nemesis Baits Sniper Worm?

McCarter himself :-\'

EKennedy

We caught 2 small bass on the DS with Nemesis KLK Goby.  Other bites also included one bluegill and a perch.  Couple strikes on a 5" KLK worm...but was tough out of the weeds.   Guess McSniper needs to pony up a few of those with my current order.   :-X  TTYS McC.  Thanks

I caught 5 keepers and culled one in the KLBA tournament. All came on a wacky worm. No size to them - all in the 2lb range. Weighed 6.9lbs for 4th place. One pound separated the 1st 4 places. The bite was tough. Tried a pop'r and got a couple to hit it but not take it down. Tried a rattle trap with no luck.
My partner tried jigs and dropshots and couldn't get bit.

5 x 2 = 6.9? Just having some fun with you. :)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
