Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Thinking of heading there in the morning for a few hours. Does anyone know when they sprayed weeds last? Any other tips would be great. I've never been there before.

EKennedy

was there last week.  They sprayed the entire north have above the dam on July 14th.  Lots of die off, very very very stained water.  Very sucky fishing...for bass at least for me.  Did manage to land one really nice toothy critter though early in the morning...then not a single solid bite all day.  I'd pick another lake.  IMHO.

JL

I would pick a different lake as well.  That lake is getting hammered with tournaments like 2 to 3 a week.  For fun fishing go to Thompson in Howell.

fiker

I agree about Woodland.  They are ruining a once fine lake.

Trouble with Thompson in Howell is the launch fee.  Without a resident sticker, I think it costs $20 a day.  It's a nice lake, but on a Saturday, it's not that nice.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Have you ever been to Tipsico??  If your looking for something new and you haven't been there.........try Tipsico.  It has big largies and it is a good morning top water bite.  I love that lake when I go largemouth fishing.  Give it a try.

Neppesing was a fun lake.  two weeks ago i was there and the outside weedline was the way to go.  lots of fish but big ones were hard to come by.

Tipsico it is. Anyone gets there, give me a call. I'll be in the floating antique Nitro.

Manxfishing

Saw in the Fri night NBAA there was a 15# sack

I found there's a good shallow bite
and bigger fish were on the outside of the weedline (13 fow)

Breaklines weren't the better bite like they were last year
but then the weed kill is allot less this year
