Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Ok this is my first year here in Michigan and need to know what passes I will need to fish at Sleepy Hallow and other state parks? I was about to buy a pass but I see that there is a pass for motor vehicles and then one for boating? Do I need both of them to launch a boat? Thanks

Fishmael

It must differ by State park because all the ones I've been to (on the west side of the state), the vehicle sticker gets you in and that is all you need.  Could be different at other I guess.

You just need the vehicle sticker for the state parks. The DNR Sticker is for the launches outside of the parks

LAPORTE

You will end up purchasing 2 stickers from the state. One would be for any state park you want to launch your boat in(ramp is in the park). and another for all of the other ramps in the state that are not inside a state park..

And then Metro Parks stickers for truck and boat each if you want to use any of the Metro Parks launches around the greater Detroit area such as:
Kent Lake
Erie Metro
Metro Beach (Saint Clair)
Stony Creek
www.metroparks.com

I think that covers pretty much all of the "public" launches.

Here we go again! ;D Then the Igham County sticker for Lake Lansing. Isn't that where you are Jacksonmj?

jacksonmj

I actually in St Johns so I'm north of Lansing and not far from Sleepy Hallow but I work in Lansing and will be launching out of there during the week. I plan on taking the boat out tomorrow to make sure everything checks out! I can't wait.

dartag

just tape 100.00 to the dash.  start launching the boat.   when the 100.00 is gone you should have it covered.
