New GreatLakesBass.com member rodfather fittingly won the random drawing for the new Grandt All American fishing rod. rodfather signed up at the January 2010 Novi Ultimate Fishing Show and was the lucky winner from about 120 new members.

Congratulations rodfather! Thanks for joining GreatLakesBass.com! Hope you enjoy your lifetime warrany Grandt Rod!

rodfather was telling me about a recent fishing trip to Florida. Check out the real toothy critter he caught down there on the flats:

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

Thanks Dan! What a great website. I am finding my self catching up on the blogs and forums. The Grandt spinning rod came at a perfect time since i picked up a spinning reel at the show. It will be a great fit since I bought a Grandt All American rod for my baitcaster 2 shows ago.
The site is really cool. ;D

Glad you like it. I hope to keep it that way. Make it even better maybe. That's the plan anyway.
