I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Sorry this won't be that exciting, but I just felt like sharing a little of my headaches with you all today. Part of owning a web site is wondering why someone would persistently spend several windows of time every day for a week or more trying to hack your little fishing web site using the nationalized Ukrainian Internet service.

Then the country of Ukraine (I have to say I have no idea how many bass anglers there are in the Ukraine, but I apologize to both of them) changes their IP ranges or adds more so I have to keep systematically adding more complete blocks to my entire web server to try to keep this person or persons from using their Ukraine Internet access to hack my web site.

Don't they know it is show season and I have a BIG fishing trip to get ready for in 19 days!!??!!??!!

There. I feel a little better now (as long as the hacker fails or gives up soon anyway...)

Believe me, I do everything I can to keep all of you safe on here like recently 'killing' (in cyberspace anyway) someone who connected through an Ivory Coast IP address and was trying to physically harvest email addresses... can it really be worth all that? I guess it must be or they wouldn't do it.

Ok... I will ask for a price list as soon as it seems feasible. In the mean time, can anyone tell me how to say/write spoonplug in Ukrainian?

turtlesmoker... pugtapper...

Shoot!!! Can't get by the #$%@$% word censor... well, PM me if you know what I'm talking about and you can speak or write Ukrainian. I appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey... what language do they speak in the Ivory Coast??

The official language of the Ivory Coast is French, although there are around 60 total languages spoken there.

As for "spoonplugger" in Ukrainian... it doesn't translate.  Sorry.  But spoon is lashka  and plug is probka.

You guys didn't know I spoke Ukrainian did you?  :D

Server tracks all IPs used to access pages.

According to APNIC you are using:
netname:      HINET-NET
descr:        CHTD, Chunghwa Telecom Co.,Ltd.
descr:        No.21-3, Sec.1, Hsin-Yi Rd.
descr:        Taipei Taiwan 100
country:      TW

I think I can just make you out on Google Earth... ;D

spoonplugger wasn't the original word I was thinking... but calling someone lashka probka doesn't sound too bad either...

Yeah, and he's probably busy fishing the shallows, the deep water, or somewhere in between.
