Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Smallies - Grand Traverse Bay and Burt/Mullett Lakes - Fall is best for Burt/Mullett after with the end of May to mid June next best; GT Bay a little later for spawn and can be good during the summer off and on.

Lake Ovid all summer.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Grand Traverse Bay, last week of June. Big water, BIG smallies.
Crystal Lake, first week of June.
Also in the area; Duck, Green , Long and Leelanau, all summer.
IMO the best bass lake in the state.......Indian, Cass county.
Look past what they want you to see.

You have to try wixom lake. There is every possible pattern you could fish available on this lake. I have caught good numbers of bass from this lake all through out the season. Also there are some pigs in that lake that have probably never seen a lure if you decide to hunt them down between the esty and highwood road bridges.

Bar none.......the best BIG largemouth lake in the State.........for numbers of 4 - 6 lbers.

Long Lake, Cheboygan County.   June & Sept, Oct.

Honestly, since we don't have Florida strain 10 pounders up here, I think the 4+ pound smallies in Lake St. Clair is the best fishing Michigan has to offer.  I got one nearly 6lbs last year that was the best bass fight I ever had.  Got him on 10lb line.  What a blast!

If you will be fishing on weekends, Fletcher Pond really is a great place for big largemouth.  Due to the thousands of water hazards jet skis and pleasure boats will not be a problem even on a weekend. Awesome place to fish.  Big nasty jigs and big nasty green bass!
