Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Anybody thinking about becoming a Marshal in a B.A.S.S. event? Open registration started two days ago.

If I had more time I would consider it....I have talked to a few guys that have done it and they say it was a blast....I was a little skeptical at first, but now I am definetly more open to it...

Time is definitely a factor. Me I have the time, but the money is always a consideration. That's retirement and the new economy. I have signed up though for the Pickwick and the Guntersville events. They are back to back weekends. Plus the three days between them I can fish Wheeler where I marshaled last year and now have a very good idea where to go on that body of water. Have you seen the blog I did of that "Dixie Duel" Elite event I went down to in April?

Dan

Just got my confirmation on the Guntersville and Pickwick tournament for April in Alabama. Was one of the top 50 to apply so we are guaranteed three days at each event. Should be another fantastic time. We went down to Wheeler for the Dixie Duel this year, and we will have three days between Guntersville and Pickwick to try the spots we learned while riding in that event. Rode with Biffle who won the event so it will be interesting to see if his spot is truly a honey hole.

Just sent in my final registration after receiving a confirmation for three days at Guntersville and three days at Pickwick. Can't wait for April.
