First Limit

Hello All,

Well after 3 years of fishing tournaments I finally took 5 fish to the scales on Belleville. It was Thursday night Midwest Sportsman tourney our weight of 9.10 was good enough for 2nd place and 100 bucks. I just had to tell someone. Needless to say I got very lucky  my partner set the pattern. I was just happy to understand why we were catching them. More to come I hope.

I really hope to get up there soon, there are areas I know hold good fish that I have never seen people fishing. Also there is a wooded shoreline up close to the river (3rd bridge) that I have always gotten limits off of. I love that lake!

That's cool.  I've only fished 6 tournaments here on Muskegon lake, and I'm having a heck of a time myself bringing 5 in.  When I just go out to play, I can catch a butt load, but as soon as I pay to fish, I lose my bearings and get frustrated.  Kinda like trying to learn to fish all over again.
