Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Cleaning the aluminum on my boat

Bought a gallon of aluminum cleaner.  It did a great job.  Parts of the boat are like new.

But, parts of the alumuninum turned kind of white.  Does the white go away?

Is there something else that I should do to make it go away?

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I forget the name of the product, but I used it on my pontoon boat a couple years ago. Same thing, parts turned white but within a few days it all looked the same. I hosed it off each day, not sure if that helped.

I have a tracker 175. We dock our boat, so it is always a bear to get it clean. We used a product call Zing. I wouldn't use this product over your lawn. Anyways, wet the hull down, scrub with a stiff brush to get a majority of the scum off, dip a Brillo pad in a pale of the zing and scrub the aluminum in one direction. My boat came out really clean, but I am going to try an aluminum polish also.

I didn't do anything special, but the whiteish color did go away after a while.
I don't remember the brand, but the cleaner was just something they carry at the marina down the street.

Zing or Alumaclean from BioKleen are the best products out there.  And I don't sell either of them darnit!
