I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

watching the Fox 2 traffic copter.  looks like a Ranger sitting on the freeway.  they said the truck spun out and the boat came off the trailer.  somewhere on I-75.  bad way to start the day.

On the way to a tournament last summer there was some drunken idiot walking down the road in the dark in the fog at 4:30 in the morning..........and the guy was basically in the lane. A couple of guys had to swerve to miss  him and ended up in the ditch with the boat flipped over and basically pretty messed up. The guy took off running after it happened so he got away with nothing. Both guys were ok other than being a little shaken up.

Hey bassbuster.   Was that the boat  headed to the Cherry Capitol tourny on leelanau in September?

No, we were headed up to either Martiny, Mecosta or Chippewa I can't remember which when it happened.

hey Fry
that was my partner & I.  We were headed to Chippewa.  Yesterday we made it by the spot going to Chip again.  A real eerie feeling.

Years ago I reconnected with a childhood friend that I hadn't seen in years. He had just purchase a small boat with a 25 horse on the back. We decided to fish the bass opener starting at midnight and fish till morning. On the way to the lake, I kidded him that the boat just fell off the trailer. Shortly after the attempt at humor, I turned around to see the boat rolling down the road. The straps holding the boat looked solid, but suffered from dry rot and gave way sending the boat and motor rolling. Fortunately, there wasn't anyone right behind us and a good smaritan stopped and kept motorist from running into the boat. We got it back on the trailer and believe it or not, decided to go put it in the lake. The boat floated, but the motor wouldn't start. We had oars so we were a go for fishing. As my buddy started to get his pole ready, the line in his zebco type reel went inside so he had to unscrew it to get the line. As he did, he somehow managed to drop the top in the lake. It was dark by then so there was no retrieving the piece. He had only brought the one rod and all I had was my one rod. He threw up his hads and decided to make lemonade. You know the old adage, "When life gives you lemons learn to make lemonade." He decided he would man the oars and rowed me around the lake all night. We ended up having a good time, but it sure did start out rough.

I bet it was a little eerie.............I was just glad nobody got hurt including the guy you had to swerve to miss even though he still deserves a good beating for causing it in the first place and then running away.

How did you guys end up on Saturday??? My partner was supposed to fish with Jerry but he got up late or something and ended up fishing by himself. He still got his limit but he said so did everyone else.
