Maxinkuckee boat launch?

Hey guys, I have heard that if you don't get to the launch early, it will be full. How early do you have to get there? My brother-in-law & I are coming down sat. to check out the lake, then next sat. I will be fishing the AYA tourny with my niece & son. Are the fish still on their beds or are they done? Looking forward to fishing the lake since I have never been there! Thanks for your help! To guarantee yourself a parking spot, by there by 5am. But you should get one before 6. If you're after 6... Unless there is a tournament there, then forget about it.

The fish are on beds now and should be for another week or 2. Actually, you may find lingering beds for another month.
