Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Saturday June 20th is the date of the 3rd annual Detroit River Open. This annual event has drawn over 100 boats for the past two years and has become one of the premier events in the mid-west. This year's Detroit River Open is shaping up to be again, one of the biggest events of the season. Anglers from all over will come out to take on these giant smallmouth's and look to capture first place honors in this year's Detroit River Open.

Take off will be out of the St Jeans Ramp and this event will be Michigan waters only. If you'd like to guarantee an early boat number you'll need to register by June 1st. You can register on line or send your Detroit River Open registration form into NBAA. After June 1st boat numbers will be assigned on the order they are received and the field is limited to 150 boats. All NBAA rules will apply.

If you have any questions about the Detroit River Open, e-mail jackhorning@sbcglobal.net for answers to your questions.

Letting you all know now...ahead of time....that I will be the check in boat this year. If you do not see me...in my little fire engine red Triton...you need better glasses....lol.

As light as my boat is, I will probably be anchored...  I did see that the whole area is a NO WAKE ZONE, so if you are running late, please do not be on plane in the distance. A DQ will be a DQ either way.

Again I get to come in early and miss most of the weigh in......OH WELL, I will catch a big limit to not worry about anything I guess   ....lol...yeah right....we all know how well I fish....LMAO

Oh Roy,

I want you to know, that I want my pictures sooner than the last event.  My God man, took you all weekend to go through those....lol
