Fished around the front of the base this morning from 7-10:30.  Nothing zero nada.  Water was the clearest in the area.  temp ranged from 52-54 degrees.   I never really fished this area before so it was new to me.  Tried some canals around metro but water was like coffee with a lot of cream.  I can only imagine what the mile rds looked like with all that wind.  Lots of guys moving around with big motors searching.  Took 2 socks just to slow down enough.

Never give up...never surrender, bassfan.  Selfridge was slow this weekend but that won't last.  Watch for the smallies to come up shallower than in years past with the extra foot or so of water we should be having.

Reports have The Mile Roads putting out some numbers but from your report, it sounds like it was not a bad day to be off the water.

It was really blowin on sat.  Was not worth beating myself partner or boat up just to "fun" fish.
