Newly retired Senior Bass Fisherman ( who hasn't had the opportunity to travel & enjoy the hunt &  beauty of new water  in 5 years- health & taking care Mom- which was  very rewarding). I am looking for Michigan lakes or Areas within 2 or even 4 hours from Hammond Ind for 2 & 3 day Weekday trips this year. I have a 16.5 boat with a 25hp (launch almost anywhere)that I rigged up wisely  when bass fishermen kept upgrading  - lol and a Bass boat that I have owned for last 20 years- never sell). There are so many  lakes and backwaters in western Michigan and with the lack of good information for a outsider like myself  -I'm just overwhelmed and am just looking for a head start to avoid guessing and wasting a day or a whole trip on low action Lakes. I'm Just looking for a few 15/16+ inch Bass and maybe a bonus 25 inch pike on a trip(every day?) would make us a happy Bass Fisherman. I'm just looking for 200-1000 acre water. Post or message me areas, lakes, would be Very much appreciative by us and any bonus help on local eateries & motels would help us Tremendously too. It just gives me a mental edge on the water when I have someone's gift of a recommendation.. Stay Safe on Land & Water in 2021.
