Sounds like a blast to me; what a great time to be on the bay!

Me & Sparky will be there.

You ain't seen nothin' till you been on Saginaw bay in late May/Early June.

MBell

Should be fun, the shallows will be loaded.  Keep you fingers crossed for clear water.

ME and old E-Rock will be up there again this year trying to defend the title from last year.  We had 26 and a half last year.  If you want to win this one im predicting 28 pounds with 6 fish.

I'd say at least 27lbs maybe even 28 if we get some calm weather.  Last year was pretty rough.  Here are last years results...

Place Team           Weight Fish   Big Fish     Avg.
1 Penn/Penn           26.55  6/6    4.95        4.43
2 Belletini/O'connor  24.68  6/6    4.44        4.11
3 Horton/Ostrander  24.65  6/6    4.79        4.11
4 Myles/Davis          23.97  6/6    4.41       4.00

Its such a good area and a really big area to.  Im sure quite a few boats will be on that spot this year mark.  Anyways what tournaments are you fishing this year?  BFL?  You fishing both tournaments end of may out of ausable?  Anyways that weekend should be fun just got to wait till it warms up so we can start fishing.  Can't wait.

Mike

Everyone I've talked to so far is fishing both and making a weekend out of it.  It will be interesting to see the weights from day to day.  I think people will be suprised how much weight the bay can put up in the spring even 2 days in a row.  It looks like tawas is almost cleared up and the rest of the bay looks thin.  I'd say about 4 weeks to open water.

Mike:

Yeah......I'm planning on the BFL again.....are you and Eric going??  If so........you guys can stay with us again.....that was fun....just need more beer!

We're also fishing both Saginaw Bay tournaments...and possibly the Federation on the Bay as well.     It's just too early to tell......we always have big ideas of fishing as much as we can.........but with the club tournaments every other weekend......it makes it tough.

You guys missed a good one in the fall up in Alpena......it was Alpena's fall invitational.   Check out the results:

You didn't put your email address in your profile......mine is........send me an email when you get a chance so I can keep in touch.

yeah those are some good sacks.  Yeah we are planning on fishing both out of au Gres as well.  Were fishing the BFL and TBF too.  I think were going to fish the Bass federation on st. clair too.  Were living down in midland this year so a lot of tournaments on sanford and wixom lake which is perfect for us.  Anyways my email address is michaelpenn@delta.edu.  Anyways shoot me and email anytime.

BigSmallie

You guys should have fun on Wixom & Sanford.......I like Wixom better......more room and a lot of ways to catch them.

We're really considering fishing the Michigan Bass Federation this year because they start out on Saginaw Bay....then Wixom...then St. Clair.     I like the line up!  Should be fun.

I just wish we could get the club to "expand" our circle of lakes this year!!    It's getting old hitting the same water each year.

By the way..........thanks for not showing up at the club classic!!!  LMAO!!!    It made the pickins' a lot easier!!!

Later!

I doubt anyone really got out this weekend, very windy from the west/north west.  I was out earlier in the week and they are doing their spring thing.  Keep your fingers crossed on the weather.
