CASTING COMPETITION AT THE ULTIMATE FISHING SHOWS

Just in from Mr. Jim Sprague himself:

"I have had a casting target set designed for the shows.  There are three targets set at different casting distances.  The farther the target the higher the points..  Each competition will be a head to head three minute event with the highest points in the time winning.  We'll keep track of the highest points for the show, as well as the overall record, etc.



I have it made to work on the ground or on the water.  It will be similar to the contests we run for Showspan vendors.  My goal is to get separate sponsors for each "hole" and set up a grand prize, etc.  we should be able to have a blast with it.  It's like a casting kids without the kids.

Well this was fun, and we learned that we need to make changes to the rules.  We had 2 - 5 people score over 8000 points on Sat.  Because people figured out the easy way, we changed up the rules a bit to make it more of a challenge and not so much a speed contest.
