Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I recently installed an Easy View tackle system.  I do not have a real big boat and this seems to have saved me some storage space.  Does anyone else use this system?  I will try to post some pics.  Another way to organize 50 lbs of plastics!

I've seen several variations on the Internet - I could probably use one so I'll have to check with you later on how it's working out.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I would like a review later in the season as well.  I thought it would be a good way to organize some of the most used plastics, but I was not sure if the pounding out on the big water would just leave a pile of bags in the bottom of the storage box.  Please keep us updated.

If anyone is interested in this system I have 4 or 5 of the bars. Just sitting in the garage collecting dust.

That set up would last about 10 seconds in my boat, too bad I do need the extra room.  Let us know how it works out.  By the way, is that a light pole next to the spinner baits, where did you get the clips for it?

The reason I have extra of this system, is that it does not hold up well to the likes of lake Erie. The sticky deal they give you just dont stick that well. I went to the point of drill and screwing it the tops of lids. This held up great but the plastic bags did not. The clips tear the heck out of the bags. Just my 2 cents. I hear other guys rave about this system, but they more then likely fish on smaller bodies of water.

You can get the light pole hangers from BPS for sure.  I was just looking at them in the "Bass Book" last night.  $3.99 a set

Potter

The light pole hangers are from BPS.  As far as the "sticky" goes, I used the red 3M adhesive instead of the stuff that came with the system.  I rarely fish the big water, so the beating should not be a problem for me.  I did screw the brackets into the aluminum braces on the rod locker lids.  I will keep you guys updated on how well it holds up.

The muddy season officially arrived today!!
