Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

The 2009 TBF of Michigan State Championship is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2009 on Mullett Lake out of Aloha State Park.

Entry fee will still be $100.

Entry deadline is scheduled for May 22, 2009.

Open to all members of TBF of Michigan and FLW Outdoors by May 22, 2009.

Clubs must still send an equal number of boaters and nonboaters.

The 2009 state team will come from this event and compete in September 2009 on the Mississippi River / Lake Cooper from Fort Madison, Iowa (hosted by the Illinois Bass Federation).

Complete details will be posted here and the official TBF of Michigan web site, and sent to all clubs shortly.

Dan,

Please get with Dennis, and find out if the Illini have finialized the dates for the Northern Regional.  Reason I ask, is that the last Michigan BFL is September 19/20th, and Fort Madison goes off limits from September 19th through the 25th for the BFL regional there October 1-3 as well.
Hopefully they had insight on this, and it will be the week of September 7th.

As I said, the event normally has to be finalized in early February. We'll know sometime between now and then.

SO I like how you guys actually continually move your state championship and mix things up, the federation nation is still up to no change at all St. Clair, St. Clair, or Saginaw Bay, lets not stray from home lol Any thoughts on coming back to Muskegon or White in the near future? What exactly does it take to fish the TBF Championship? Gas prices are low so you may have me in this year and its during summer break.

We are discussing a number of possibilities for 2010. A number of things need to happen to give us more options. We will have to see all the factors that are involved in making a decision including who is on the TBF of Michigan board after the April presidents' meeting when we vote in 3 board members.
