I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Got out a little late due to Dan encountering horrible Michigan traffic on I-75. Fishing was tough. Water temps ranged from 48-53 throughout the day. Weather forecast called for winds 5 kts. or under in the afternoon. Of course they were wrong. It was a little bumpy when we decided to leave our first area after struggling to get consistent bites. We headed to the Mile Roads in search of the mother lode. Nope. Not there either. Dan caught a few while I might as well been throwing a picture of a lure. Oh well, at least I gave my gear a work out.
Pike Master Dan was also demonstrating his best Northern attracting techniques and hooked several including the nice one in the pic below, which does not show the profanities he was uttering while trying to unhook the beast.

Nice report and pictures as usual. Did you try Anchor Bay at all?  I have not spent much time on the mile roads this year because it?s been so dirty.

Thanks! No, did not try Anchor Bay. Water clarity at Mile Roads wasn?t horrible. Bumpy though so couldn?t see bottom much. Didn?t seem to be a lot of fish there. At least we weren?t catching much. Didn?t see a lot of other boats landing fish either, a few but not typical of past years.

Visibility wasn't that bad around Memorial Park but north of that was very muddy. Did catch that big toothy creature in the mud and one big smallie somehow. cameraguy caught a few too but I have the pictures since he almost never does selfies (maybe some king of 'cameraguy' regulation bars it?).

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
