Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

So yes, I have one open boater. Things may shuffle as I haven't heard from everyone lately, and I wasn't sure of the actual status of at least capt charlie's charters. Sent a message. We'll see what we see. Thanks.

Oh, and just planning on having pizza delivered as long as I don't find out that's a problem. Bring your own beverages. Can someone bring some plates, napkins and plasticware as well? I will have 2 folding tables. Probably could use 1 or 2 more. Bring a chair if you want one too.

Okay. capt charlie contacted me and I think he set me straight so he's actually bringing a boat and fishing with a couple nephews.

I've updated the list, and this means I now have 2 OPEN boaters so room for a couple more non-boaters if everyone is able to confirm and make it Saturday. I'd like to get people out fishing and everyone have someone to swap fish stories with.
