Detroit River BFL Super Tournament

I looked up on the FLW site to see when the deadline for the Super Tournament on September 30th was. The only info on registration I got was on the Detroit River event that just ended. They had openings for 9 coanglers at the last event and I was just checking for a friend as to the possibilities of still getting in the Super Tournament.

I just looked and I believe the late fee starts on 9-17 with finale entry date being 9-26 . Is he a member of FLW?

I think he is. Say, I was on the FLW site looking up this information and there was a spot that asked if you wanted to upgrade to a "Gold Card." What's the deal with those?

Basically from what I have seen a gold card allows you to be absent from the meetings on fridays.  You have to send a representitive in your place though...That can be another BFL angler that is fishing that tourney, but doesn't have to be..
