Ned Rig for Power Fisherman
« on: January 23, 2019, 06:51:58 PM »

I'm not a light line guy and like to finnesse some smallies/largies... I made these in 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 with a 1/0 2X super strong tempered/forged super needlepoint hook. I wanted 2 keeper barbs to keep the plastic in place... Nothing will float a ned rig better than a ball head as long as there is no lead on the collar to pull it down. I like how this looks like a minnow eating, much better than the other heads I have seen.

Very nice as usual! I've been thinking about getting a mold for those big-eyed type jigheads. They seem to be real popular, and I've always liked the idea of eyes as something for a fish to go after. Those look GOOD!

I'm gaining confidence on the Ned rig though I see it is no more magic than any other technique. Works good when it's working. Also entertains me when I post a picture on the Facebook finesse group and someone says, 'that's not a Ned rig.' Can't buy that anywhere!! ;D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
