We still need your help for this summer's Fish-n-Friends youth event. We need more boater volunteers to take the kids from Crossroads for Youth in Oxford MI. This year's event is Saturday July 26, 2008 on Lake Orion.

Taking the kids out is only one part of the deal. For the rest of the year, we have to raise money and get donations of all the equipment we need to hold this event. Rods and reels for everyone. Some tackle and tackle boxes. Hooks, terminal tackle and bait. These, the kids get to keep. Then we have to line up all those life jackets even though they are returned.

We have an incredible opportunity to fund this year's event in a hurry the next two Saturdays. Organizer Anthony Adams needs a couple volunteers to be at Bass Pro Shops in Auburn Hills to help cook and sell brats and pop. Thanks to Tracker Boats, all sales donations will go to our Fish-n-Friends fund.

We have one helper so far to help cook, but need 1 to 2 more each Saturday, June 7 and June 14 from 10 AM until the food runs out - give an hour or a few hours - whatever you can do. Even if you can't help with the actual fishing event, maybe you can help make a difference this way. Please consider and contact Anthony Adams at 248-209-4179 - thanks!!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
