Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Anyone know a place on the East Side where I can get a few small tears in my boat seats fixed?  I have a few small holes which are starting tear from people who forgot that there were hooks attached to the lures on their rods.  ::)  Nothing big to fix, but I want to nip it in the bud before they turn into bigger tears.

Vyna Bond is made by performix, the same folks that make plastidip.  As soon as I find some I am buying it, probably will end up just ordering some.

Might be worth looking at....

Looks like good stuff, but I don't see any reference to being able to be used on leather.  Ever tried it on leather?  I wonder if it'll work.

Tom:

your boat seats are vinyl, and not leather.   Leather is not water resistant, and would soak up water and stay wet non stop.

Now don't I feel like a complete idiot!  They look and feel like leather, so I assumed they were some kind of leather.  Well, ya learn something new every day...even about your own stuff.  DOH!

You'd be suprised to find out that most automotive seats that say there Leather are not 100% leather. The seats may start out with alot of leather but due to cost savings thats the 1st thing to go. If you have leather seats only a couple of sections will be leather, these are usually found in the insert area of the seat. A quick way to tell is to push into it with your thumb, if it looks wrinkled/crackly then its leather if it doesnt then its vinyl.
