lowrance 28c hd?

I did a search and didnt find this topic.Im looking at getting a lowrance lcx-28c hd sonar,the cheapest place i found was $1038.00 and thats shipped.A friend recomended a site called hodges marine electronics.any of u guy's know of a site,or store that is cheaper?my wife is allready gonna kill me im trying to make this less painful thanks fellas.....

hodges does seem to be pretty cheap most of the time, www.bluelaketackle.com is a good place, they have instant discounts, plus they take offers.  Cabelas bargain bin is a good place to check as well.

When I bought my 25c a couple of years ago I was able to get the best price from cabela's, had to keep watching for the sales.

Thanks for the input fellas went with hodges,should be here in a couple days...by far the cheapest deal i found any where's else.
