Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

thought i'd post some pics to get this forum started.
i started building rods around xmas and i'm totally addicted. Here's what i've been working on all winter:

Like i posted earlier, here are a few of my older bps rods i customized.
i removed the foregrips and split rear ones:

Then i replaced the missing screw-in but caps:

here's a 6'6" M spinning rod i did for a buddy:

liked it so much i did one for me too ;D

finally, picked up a nice allstar and batson excel blank off ebay so
i added a new jerkbait rod (left) and finesses jig rod (7'6" M/xfast) to the arsenal. Both of these were my first spiral wraps, got to try them out over easter and i love 'em!

i've got 5 more rods to build yet for a few friends... so hopefully more pics to come.

Great work dude.  Getting rid of the extra cork & twisting the guides really reduces the weight and helps the balance.

Now help me talk Big John into ditching the Kistlers, and letting us make him some rods next winter.   ;)

i seem to remember him pulling a big-ole football head out of a nice bass on table rock w/ some pool-cue kistler he won at the banquet the night before.
No big deal, just the fish that would have sent us to FOM nationals...   :D:) ;D
