I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

hey guys just wondering what products u guys use to keep ur boats clean and waxed spot free? thanks kb

djkimmel

I've like Bass Boat Saver and Mequiars at times. I've tried plenty of others though I've not always been real good about keeping the boat clean and nice... I get distracted easily. Wiping it down and applying something like Bass Boat Saver can help make it less of a chore to give it a good waxing and buffing once in awhile.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

pro tec products. Absolutely the best on the market for keeping it tip top shape. Always carry a chamois to wipe the boat down after you pull from the lake.

I use Lucas Oil Products Slick Mist to keep my boat clean, but only when I pull it out of cleaner water.  If I am fishing dingy - dirty water, I give it a quick wipe down at the ramp, but head immediately to the quarter car wash and was the boat and follow it up with Slick Mist.  I also wax the boat every spring which helps tremendously.  I have found Meguiars "Flagship" premium marine wax to be the best product

I have some Lucas Oil products though I have not tried them yet. Jim Vitaro (owner of The Hawg Troughs) gave them to me to try out.

I like Lucas slick mist and Bass Boat Saver. Something else that helps with scum ring when you get off the water 1 cup white vinegar 3 cups water in spray bottle.

LAPORTE

check out Peregrine 250 products. The water dog is the best hard water spot remover I have ever used. also the screen cleaner out performs all others.

As mentioned above, I use Lucas Oil Slick Mist Speed Wax.  Fast and Easy and it smells like candy!

You are spot on about the smell.  I have never used a cleaning product that smells so good!

Hollada

I got this from a few old timers......

50/50 white vinegar and water.  Removes water spots, cleans the graphs, looks as good as waxed.   I also use pro tech every now and then, but really can't tell much difference from the vinegar and water.

It's available at most stores! Vinegar is def a good cleaning agent also, but doesn't smell as good as slick mist speed wax!

Big dreams

I have used Slick Mist and BBS.  I like them both.  I can get a better shine with BBS by wiping it down with a clean cloth after the initial coat dries.  Slick Mist is easier to use and is easily available at most big box stores.

fiker

I use the vinegar water solution for water spots.  I use dollar store furniture polish to wax it up
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
