Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Working on the boat the other day I noticed my plate was gone. Don't know if it fell off or was stolen at the end of last year. Does anybody know the proper procedure to get a new one? Can I do it online? phone? will it cost full price again? . I e-mailed the SOS no reply. I called and gave up after half hour on hold. Thanks for any info anybody can give me.

Durand Dan

Just go in with your trailer registration and $5. They will issue a new one

Team houston

Boy if its only $5 I would feel I am getting of cheap. I thought for sure it would be another $75. Thanks for the info Durand Dan.

Skulley

It is a permanent plate and they can not charge you twice for the same plate that is going on the same trailer for which they have already issued a plate.  Therefore, registration and $5 is all they can charge.  Although the Michigan government is money hungary so there is no telling what you will be charged for.

Thanks for the info.  I just lost mine either last week or this weekend.  I just noticed it on Saturday.  The whole bracket was broken off.
