Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

We are doing a shoot and cast demo day from 4pm until 8pm at the Capital Area Sportsmen's League for the Michigan Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus members (State Representatives and Senators). I will be doing casting and fishing demo's there at their pond.

I think it would be cool if we had a decent bass boat rig there for them to see parked by the pond. There's a wild game dinner that is included as part of the evening so if you volunteer to help out for the afternoon you would get dinner included. Even if my truck was fixed my boat is a little ragged looking, needs some work on the seats and such so I would like it if someone else could volunteer to bring their rig to show at the Wild Game dinner shoot and cast. You could help me demonstrate how to cast and fish to the many attendees of this cool event.

Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation is donating some prizes too to give away, which is nice.

The Capital Area Sportsmen's League is located at 7534 Old River Trail, Lansing, MI 48917, www.micasl.org.

Okay. That would be cool. Let me know. I have to go pick up prizes Wednesday morning. We want to setup around 3pm to be ready for 4pm because we expect legislators to show up mostly at the beginning. I think they're eating at 5 because some legislators have to leave early for another event so I don't know how busy we'll be after dinner. Last year the attendance was pretty good.
