dartag and Revtro win 2016 MadWags with 21-14
Revtro returned to MadWags fishing with boater dartag on a great day to do so. The pair's best 5 bass weighed 21 pounds 14 ounces netting the 2016 MadWags Memorial Members' Tournament championship. They also boated the tiebreaker winner 2nd big bass at 5 pounds even all from the backs of Muscamoot Bay mostly while fishing the few beds that were recently made. dartag took 2nd place last year.

fishon1219 and mikballa took 2nd with 20 pounds 8 ounce also fishing Muscamoot Bay, while 3rd place went to Jay-MadWags and Tdrouillard fishing mostly in Anchor Bay for their 20 pounds 3 ounce catch.

20 teams with a total of 44 anglers showed up and enjoyed better weather than forecasted along with another great cookout including grilled dogs by JasonFox and pizza that Mojo thought of having delivered with some of the anglers kicking in to help cover the cost. Everyone had plenty to eat and drink.

The coveted big ugly went to a far-traveling team of SteveR and spinnerbation for an 8 pounds 10 ounce slimy catfish that was released back into the lake to be caught again by someone else. A couple sheepshead were also brought in including a 6-5.

Big bass of the event went to Jay-Madwags and Tdrouillard for a fat 5-2 pounds smallmouth bass.

The other teams did not turn in their sheets. 21XDC and I had 3 bass we wrote down for 5-something but we both forgot to turn in our sheet until after the weigh in was done. One team had boat trouble and ended up not getting a chance to fish unfortunately.

:( I'm sorry  :(

::)

You didn't see me worrying about it or trying to hunt it down, did you? If we have 15 or 20 pounds we would have turned it in. The memories of the day will have to be good enough in this case. :)
