Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

hi guys we are back again in 2016 with our monday night and weekend division we had a great turn out last year for both and a exellent showing at our 2 day classic at portage and manistee lakes we ended up paying out over 10,000 in winnings and prizes for raffles last year at our classic hope to make this year even better we ended up with a 21 boat field that made the classic so was very exciting . well we have our new schedeule this year and here it is

weeknight mondays as follows

june 6th   sessions lake   6pm to 9pm

june 13th jordan lake 6pm to 9pm

june 20th lake ovid 6pm to 9pm

june 27th duck lake calhoun county 6pm to 9pm

july 11th lake lansing  6pm to 9pm

july 18th thornapple lake 6pm to 9pm

july 25th upper grand river lansing 6pm to 9pm

august 1st webber dam portland 6pm to 9pm

august 8th upper crooked barry county 6pm to 9pm

august 15th morrison lake 6pm to 9pm

august 22nd upper grand lansing 530pm to 830pm

august 29th lake lansing 530pm to 830pm

weekend scheduele is saturdays


june 4th lake ovid 6am to 2pm

june 18th lake lansing 6am to 12pm

july 2nd  webber dam portland 6am to 12pm

july 16th  upper grand lansing 6am to 12pm

july 30th morrison lake 6am to 12 pm
