Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Have fun fellow anglers. I will be in Oklahoma at the Classic or I would have visited this year. I'm sure you will all have a great time.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I think my brother is going to show up this time. He has gathered up a bunch of crankbaits he doesn't use anymore. So if you are after some cranks there will be plenty to choose from.

Thanks to  Bob and family for letting us come over and hang out for awhile. It was good to see everyone again along with some new faces. I loved bob's pulled pork chilli . Take care everyone and have a safe , productive fishing year....later
