Need an honest Mercury Mechanic in Milford area
« on: July 05, 2015, 07:17:43 PM »

Hello Everyone

Recently was out on you Tracker and my 25HP 1993 Merc would not start

Got it home
Put the muffs on

No spark
Removed the kill switch circuit
Still no Spark
Ohmed out the Stator
only getting 150 Ohms from High side and infinite resistance out of the low side
Trigger Ohmed out per specs

Trouble is I'm not 100 percent sure its the stator and would like a Merc mechanic to look at it

Also cant seem to find the stator locally

Does anyone know of a good honest mechanic in the Milford Area?

Thanks

Mike

Closest place I know personally is Wonderland Marine West.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

heard good things about Wilson marine in brighton/howell  or klaves on portage, before I'd ever consider going to wonderland.
