We love 'em, but we also have lots of questions... and technology ain't getting any simpler. Anymore, new and improved GPS, fishfinders and other fantastic electronics keep coming out faster than we can keep up with them. Seems like you need to be a network engineer sometimes to use the latest stuff, doesn't it?

Electronics Talk is here to help with this complex, challenging (and fun) area of our 'high tech' fishing world. Board moderator Slipkey - also our newest GLB sponsor with his EZODs.com - Trip Strategies for Life Outdoors - will share his electronics knowledge and facilitate seeking out answers to our questions along the path to a better understanding of how all this technology helps us enjoy the great outdoors that much better.

Anyone can pipe in here too since it's all about sharing knowledge and learning from each other - the whole purpose of GreatLakesBass.com.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
Unless clearly stated as such, opinions expressed by Dan Kimmel on this forum are not the opinions or policies of The Bass Federation of Michigan.

Thanks, Dan.  Just to re-iterate that, this board is not a "sponsor only" deal.  I'm proud that Dan asked me to moderate this board and proud to have EZODs.com sponsor GLB, but I know the good folks at eBuyersworld.com have a ton of knowledge and I've been known to spend a fair amount of time crawling around under consoles and running wires.

Between the several GLB sponsors who deal with Electronics and all the wealth of knowlege from members of GLB, we should be able to tackle most any questions that arise here.   If not, I promise to do my best to track down any missing answers.  :)
