Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Lazy summer 85 degree, daytime, while dining with friends, the host showed his non motorized lake. I see NO weeds and water. Guy says there's fish in there but not alot of activity. I'll cut to the chase, we caught and released about 15 - 20 bass in about an hour. My host, all 4 kids, and both wives caught bass. This was the second low pressured lake I've played in where I tried something new.

So here is the idea:

I took my drop shot rig, dumped the weight and swam a beige and white McCarter Special goby like a senko. Throw, count to 10, twitch, count to 5, twitch, count to 5 - set the hook. Just like the first small lake, it was a feeding frenzy. This doesnt seem to work on pressured lakes like Cass or Kent.

My post is to hear how everyone else has modified in certain situations and made their existing tackle work out ? Or situations where you tried some combination that worked awesome !??????????
