Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Traditional catch & keep opening weekend, where are you fishing?  Sadly, I think I'll be at Belleville running off last year's gas and making sure everything works 100% on my boat.

Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

djkimmel

I'm not sure yet. I may get to Lake St. Clair 1 day this week (I hope) but not on the weekend... Probably just fish around Lansing somewhere on the weekend maybe once.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Sounds like Kent Lake will be busy opening weekend!

BIGSHOW

I would like to do belleville but waited to last minute. Looking for experienced partner. Anyone out there?

dartag

Kent is going to be interesting.  I was there yesterday and the west ramp only has one spot to launch.  The fishing pier's are still onshore.  Plus the water is supershallow.  Had to back my truck way back in to launch and get the boat back on the trailer.  Hopefully they will at least get the pier's out of the way.  If not going to take a while to launch 70 boats.

t-bone

I was there yesterday and it really was a pain. They better get those docks out and they need to raise the water another 6 inches. It is going to be very hard to get everyone in and out.
