So close to a HUGE win!!! Believe me, my good friend Ben Felton is VERY happy with 2nd place and a huge check. More information after he gets back from the Potomac - left right from the tournament.

18 pounds 5 ounces limit of Lake St. Clair smallies comes with half a pound of the win, but Ben was on a high note as he packed up to hit the road.

Here's Ben on stage as he was asked by Charlie Evans how he felt about the whole event:

A quick shot of Ben Felton with his 2nd place FLW Tour trophy - the smile of one HAPPY camper!!!

LUMBERLEO finishes 4th with a solid 15 pounds 14 ounce limit!

Congratulations to Ben and Scott on a fantastic tournament. Now, let's all send good luck wishes to GreatfLakesBass.com member Steve Clapper as he goes for the BIG WIN!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thanks Dan and Vince, I really appreciate the kind words and well wishes. I am starting to get an idea of what it takes to get the average fish here but not the big ones. I am behind the 8 ball right now but I have 2 more days to make up the gap for at least a check.
Hey Bass Fan did a small piece on Keven Long's finish and he did mention me in the article as a thanks for helping him locate his pattern and fish. It is in the more news under Finishes 2-5.
Great Pictures Dan!

That was a very good jesture by Kevin and I really appreciate all of the exposure and well wishes.
Well back to the Potomac,
Later

Congratulations, Ben!  You've been working at this for quite a while now and it's paying off.  I saw the article on Bassfan and thought it was classy of Kevin to mention your help.  Good luck at the Potomic and future events!
