Transducer mounting questions
« on: April 15, 2015, 08:02:02 PM »

Thinking of purchasing a lowrance elite chirp. It comes with a 83/200 -455/800 transducer built in one transducer. My issue is mounting it on my Terrova trolling motor may have issues with the cord etc. with the electric drive. I was thinking of just mounting it on the boat since they suggest not putting it "thru hull". Has anyone mounted an external transducer on a ranger boat with the setback? Where would be the place to put it? On back or underneath? I never really noticed on other boats...thx
